About us

Linda Freese

Linda Freese is the Managing Director of Freese Event Management which she established in 2002 following 10 years of working in senior event roles for major corporates in the UK.

Since setting up on her own, her clients have included blue chip companies such as Hewlett Packard, Deloitte, Marks & Spencer plc, Samsung Electronics & Alstom Power & Mastercard.

Linda's network of suppliers and venues together with her creativity and strong work ethic, have gained her an excellent reputation within the industry for delivering great events.

In the beginning

Having graduated from London University with a degree in Modern Languages, Linda started her career in the travel industry. After two years working as a European coach tour guide, she returned to London to work for Iberia, airlines of Spain and then Pan American Airways. It was here that she built up her knowledge of countries, venues, good food and wine!

Conference experience

In 1994 Linda decided to channel her knowledge in a different direction and joined a major investment bank, where she began to organise European conferences for senior bankers.

A move to another major corporate in 1997 gave her the opportunity to work on corporate hospitality events and in 2000, following a promotion to UK Event Manager, began a major project, centralising a corporate hospitality programme for the whole of the UK firm, which at the time consisted of over 5000 employees.

Today

The Freese Event Management team today is stronger than ever. With offices in the UK and Spain, our multi-lingual team is made up of creative, diverse individuals who excel at creating fantastic events.
